It’s that time of the year again. It’s exam season and you are either overworked and stressed or completely unprepared. Here are DO’s and DON’Ts so that you can survive your exams.
Study: You cannot avoid this. You must study and prepare yourself effectively for your exams. Whether you are a Visual, Auditory or a Kinesthetic learner.
TIP: If you are struggling to study through your usual style, try a new style of learning. Personally I couldn't learn through reading and revisiting topics therefore, I switched to auditory and I watched videos based on those topics.
Keep calm: It may not be easy to not stress over your exams. It is also not easy to not be stressed over trying to fit a year’s worth of learning in a few weeks. However, keep calm because you will pull through.
Self-care: Definitely ensure that you take care of yourself as much as you can. You should do this as equally as you study and prepare for you exams.
Ask for help: Ask for help if you are stuck or unsure. This will clear up any questions that you have and will help you to get the most out of your study sessions. It is also better to ask 100 questions and get it right rather than to ask no questions and struggle to understand.
Worry: Do not focus on the future yet and most importantly do not overthink of the outcome. Focus on the present and how you are going to achieve your grades. Give your 100% and do your absolute best.
Stress: This is easier said than done. Why? Simply put because we all stress when we have overloads of work and studying to do.
Over-work: As much as you should be preparing, you should be equally taking care of yourself. Both mentally and physically.
Leave it to the last minute: I cannot stress enough how important it is to prepare yourself and study months in advance to your exams. This will not only reduce and minimize your stress but it will also help you to only focus on the topics that you struggle with.

Nice article Caterina! Having gone through a fair deal of exams myself during Uni I know how stressful they can be.
