Do you struggle to wake up in the morning? Are your mornings same old, same old? Here are 5 ways you can turn your dull mornings into a more positive one.
Your body will get used to getting up at the same time. Eventually you may even find that you can wake up at that time without an alarm!
Always give yourself 2/3 minutes to wake up properly don’t just rush out of bed, it will increase your stress levels before you’ve even started. Just remember don’t hit snooze on that alarm!
There’s nothing like a refreshing shower to wake you up. Turn the music on and get those positive vibes flowing.
We all know that eating breakfast will set you up for the day. But, it can be hard to find time to fit breakfast in. Getting up a little earlier instead of hitting that snooze button will help a lot first thing in the morning.
Try setting a breakfast menu for each morning, not only will this remind you but if you mix up your breakfasts a bit, instead of cereals or toast you’ll find you are more motivated at breakfast!
Make a list, set your goals for the day and prioritise! Get the most difficult or boring tasks out of the way first if you can.
Remember to come back to your lists and goals, check of anything you have done and reward yourself!
Affirmations are a great way to turn negative thoughts into positive ones.
Having a positive start to the day is so important. The way you start your day can determine your mindset and ultimately how the rest of the day will go.
I am a huge fan of affirmations. An affirmation is a declaration that you are making to yourself. Listening to affirmations or saying them repeatedly reinforces your belief that these declarations are true.
Thank you for reading. Do you use affirmations? What is your favourite affirmation?

I love positive affirmations! I really think they work
I really struggle with waking up at the same time each day because my schedule is so varied. Some days I get home super late and some days I start really early. However, I love positive affirmations! I have a list of them on my bedroom wall and each morning I choose a few to start my day off with. It just gives the morning a positive energy from the get go!
