Finally Graduation! It is that time of the year, final year university students are wrapping up their studies and getting ready to celebrate the end of a chapter. Being one of those soon-to-be graduates myself, I am very excited about what is coming next in my professional and personal life. Along with a lot of […]
University can often be difficult at the best of times; but add a health problem into the mix and it can suddenly get ten times harder. It’s so important to make sure that you look after yourself- and that the needs that come from your health are catered for. GET A SUPPORT PLAN IN PLACE […]
One thing that a lot of freshers struggle with during their first year is homesickness. Whether or not you care to admit it, I think we all end up feeling it every now and then. No matter how many people you surround yourself with in that first year, feeling homesick is incredibly common. In fact, […]
Before I started University, I didn’t have a very healthy relationship with food. I was eating the wrong things, eating too much and gaining weight. I’m not a teacher, nor have I ever had the desire to become one. Even the thought of one day being a lecturer at a local university sends my stomach into flips. It’s not that I hate the idea of teaching, it’s all the responsibility that comes with it. This is especially true in regards to the responsibility surrounding mental health.
Don’t know what course to pick at uni? Don’t know if you even want to go to uni at all?? Your not alone. I’m struggling, I’ll admit. Although I do remain positive, I seriously have no idea what I want to do next with my life!! It feels like there’s 100 things trying to fight […]
