Get involved Award –Participation badge

Earners of the Participation badge have taken part in an Everyday Role Model activity delivered by MyNeedToLive.

You will have undertaken research, actively investigated one of the seven MNTL categories; entertainment, wellbeing, enterprise, career, lifestyle, education, finance, and published content on the MyNeedToLive platform under the guidance of the MNTL team. You will have also engaged with and provided support to peers.

What it takes to earn this badge

You will have worked with MNTL to develop an understanding of research and actively investigated a topic of your choice from one of the seven categories; entertainment, wellbeing, enterprise, career, lifestyle, education, finance, to create published content on the MyNeedToLive platform thus meeting the basic expectations of a professional blogger

  • Worked with MNTL to create a promotional post of your work on your social media channels, developing their knowledge of content creation and self-promotion.
  • Shown an understanding of engagement and supported other Everyday Role Model’s content to amplify support and readership
  • Engaged with other Everyday Role Model’s content by providing feedback to them on the MyNeedToLive platform

This badge has been mapped to the Participation Layer of the Cities of Learning Spine. Earners meet expectations, can interact with learning and are able to join in with others.

Demonstration badge

You will have taken part in an Everyday Role Model Content Creator activity. You will have applied your knowledge of research in a real-world environment and actively investigated the career, wellbeing, education, enterprise, entertainment, lifestyle, or finance categories. You will have published content on the platform under the guidance of the MNTL team and engaged with and provided support to peers.

You will have applied your knowledge of research and actively investigated the Career Category to create a minimum of four sets of published content on the MyNeedToLive platform that meets the expectations of a professional blogger.

Worked with MNTL to create a promotional post of your work on your social media channels, developing their knowledge of content creation and self-promotion to further create three social posts a week.

Shown a continued understanding of engagement and supported other Everyday Role Model’s content to amplify support and readership.

You will have shown evidence of engagement with other Everyday Role Model’s content by providing feedback to them on the MyNeedToLive platform

You will have utilised your skills in content creation in one of the seven categories; career, wellbeing, education, enterprise, entertainment, lifestyle, or finance, and successfully completed the Cities of Learning program delivered by MyNeedToLive.

You will have embedded your knowledge of research in different contexts and influenced others in their development of professional blogging.
