I have never been much of a mobile gamer, I have played Angry Birds, Candy Crush and games like that to kill some time when on a bus or a lunch break, but never choose my phone as a real gaming device.

Maybe its all the micropayments and adverts I need to get through to play for more than five minutes, or maybe its because my phone was so old the battery couldn’t handle getting a text message.

Who knows, but the other day I came across a game that has me hooked.

Among Us

Among Us is an online multiplayer deduction game, developed and published by InnerSloth.

The game takes place in a space station where players each take on one of two roles, the majority being Crewmates, and a select number being Impostors.

The goal for the Crewmates is to identify the Impostors, eliminate them, and complete tasks around the map, and the Impostors’ goal is to kill the Crewmates without being identified.

Among Us is an addictive game, with each round lasting on average 5 minutes, its a fun way to break up your day.

Among Us is currently available free on iOS and Android devices, with some in-game purchases and an around £3.99 on stream for PC.

However, the game is looking to move to consoles in 2021. The game has a growing community which could make this one of the biggest games for next year.

Have you played Among Us? What did you think? What’s your favourite mobile game? Let us know your thoughts…
